This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Melissa Emily Picard, beloved daughter of James Picard and Pamela Giacobbi, who was taken into heaven on April 20, 2005.  She will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Melissa was miscarried at 9 weeks on April 20, 2005. The cause for her loss is unknown.

She was an unexpected surprise but a joyful one and she was very wanted. God had other plans however, as he often does for those that are too beautiful for this earth and I know her father and I will see her again someday in heaven. I know she is resting safely in God's arms and that she is a beautiful angel.

I love her and miss her every day of my life and with every breath that I take. She was so special for so many reasons.

Melissa Emily was my most wonderful gift from God even though I was only allowed to have her in my life for a very short time. I am so grateful to have known her presence and she will remain forever in my heart.



My Sweet Little Melissa,

You are loved and missed more than mommy can possibly put into words. I will see you again and hold you one day when I come to heaven.

Until then, please know how much I love you and how much I think of you. Be good my sweet baby girl. Rest safely with God.
